Open House

A week ago, our school Kids Camp hosted its Open house! Not only is this major event a great way for interested parents to be introduced to our concept, a bilingual education program that provides the children with a unique learning environment, but it is also a fantastic experience for the children at our school to show you (and their parents!) what they’ve learnt and the projects they’ve proudly worked on in the last months.

From the ground floor to the 2nd floor, you could explore the different themes that are used in each grade’s classroom, from Fantasyland in 1st grade, Nature in 2nd grade to Underwater in 3rd grade and Outerspace in 4th grade.

The library was also open to visit with a variety of books on display, both in German and in English, as well as a Bookflix poster made by the kids showing their favourite books (wink to the well-known Netflix platform) and a Christmas book-tree set for the season!

The building was full and lively with all the diverse activities provided, a scavenger hunt, a music corner, some poems and of course some delicious snacks and drinks.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Open House possible and to all who joined us. We hope you’ll spread the word and come visit us again next year!

Fit4Future meets Kids Camp

On 22 October, our preschool and primary school held a fit4future action day. Together with area manager Mrs. Find, 10 different stations were set up in advance covering the areas of exercise, nutrition, mental health and fitness, and addiction prevention. The children spent the day learning about prevention topics through lots of fun and games. The morning began with a warm-up for all classes in the schoolyard. This was followed by movement games, quizzes on health and nutrition, dexterity exercises and much more. The action program sparked the children’s interest in a variety of ways and raised their awareness of the topics.
