Reading Olympics – Reading Month May 2026
This year, our Reading Month in May will take place under the exciting theme “Reading Olympics”. Throughout the month, children will experience the joy of reading through a variety of creative and engaging activities connected to sports, teamwork, language, and imagination.
Our planned activities include:
• International Read-Aloud Sessions
• Cuddly Toy Reading
• Sports Kahoot Quiz
• Special Olympics Games
• Partner Reading Across Grade Levels
• Dress Up Like an Athlete Day
• Book-nic
• Read-Aloud Competition
The goal of our Reading Olympics is to encourage a love for books and storytelling while strengthening language skills, confidence, creativity, and social interaction in a fun and meaningful way.
We are looking forward to an inspiring month filled with stories, movement, teamwork, and many wonderful reading moments!
