St. Nicholas surprise!
Today, all the children enjoyed a St. Nicholas surprise!
As a guest, we were privileged to welcome Mr. Rainer Rudloff. He first read to the third- and fourth-grade classes, then to the first- and second-grade classes as well as the preschool. In our festively prepared cafeteria, we listened intently to the storyteller, who skillfully used different voice tones to bring the stories to life for the listeners both young and old. Along the way, Mr. Rudloff engaged the children, discussing the story with them.
The highlight was certainly the adventure of the spaghetti monsters. In the humorous tale by Andreas Steinhöfel (from the book “Dirk und ich”), a child’s birthday party is described—the kind many kids would wish for. The many funny moments had everyone laughing again and again.
After the reading, each child received a bookmark with Mr. Rudloff’s autograph and book recommendations.
We are delighted to begin the second Advent weekend with this successful and unforgettable reading, and we wish you a few peaceful hours during this time.
