During that month, information for kids about famous mathematicians as well as mathematical phenomena and everyday mathematics is presented on posters in many places in the school building.
On several days, an activity with a mathematical focus takes place during early supervision, for example a Sudoku morning, a strategy games morning or a mandala morning.
In another highly creative “We bring order to chaos” activity, the children create pictures from various materials or build or sort something. Colorful wooden sticks, buttons, shells, stones, tiles, pentominos, cotton swabs, sponges, clothespins, colored plastic chips, pattern blocks, and many more arts and crafts materials are used for this.
