Learning About Phases of the Moon in Science Class

The first-grade class is hard at work learning about objects in the sky! Here you can see they are applying their knowledge about the phases of the moon with Oreo cookies. The scientists in training were able to see the moon go from a full moon all the way to a new moon by scraping away part of the cookie cream. What a delicious way to learn about the phases of the moon!
